§ Mr. David Priceasked the Secretary of State for Transport, in view of his declared intention to make the A36 road the main road link between the port of Southampton and the Bristol area, South Wales and the West Midlands, what plans he has for improving that stretch of the A36 which runs through the parish of Willow, Hampshire.
§ Mr. HoramThe A36 trunk road is the link between Southampton and the Bristol area. That section which runs through the parish of Willow is lightly trafficked and I have no present plans for its major improvement. I am examining the need for minor improvements, mainly at junctions with the trunk road.
