§ Mr. Warrenasked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will give a date for the designation of the A21 road as a trunk road; and if he will make a statement on the expected completion date of the improvements already planned along its length in the counties of Kent and East Sussex.
§ Mr. Horam1st April 1977, subject to completion of necessary statutory procedures. Improvements to the road would then fall to be made within the national trunk road programme. It is too early to say what priority they would merit.
