Mr. Alan WilliamsAs the Government have made clear on a number of occasions, the Government believe that planning agreements should be voluntary. Despite the disappointing lack of progress so far I am still hopeful that industry will respond to this approach. The Government have no present plans to introduce legislation to make planning agreements compulsory.
