asked the Secretary of State for Industry (1) what has been the cost to public funds, to 22nd November 1976, of the Organising Committee of the proposed nationalised company, British Aerospace;

(2) what has been the cost to public funds, to 22nd November 1976, of the Organising Committee of the proposed nationalised company, British Ship-building.

The cost to public funds of the Organising Committees for the British Aerospace Corporation and the British Shipbuilders Corporation up to 22nd November 1976 is estimated to be £393,675.
