§ Miss Margaret JacksonBy October 1976 22 local education authorities in England had completely abolished selection for secondary education. In a further 19 reorganisation was complete except for voluntary schools. The latest available list of comprehensive schools showing the numbers of pupils on roll in each case, is for January 1976 and covers 2,674 schools in England. I am sending my hon. Friend a copy of this list.
