asked Her Majesty's Government:

When the new Queen Anne's Mansions are to be formally opened for Government use; which Department is to occupy these premises and how many other buildings will then be released.

Occupation of 50 Queen Anne's Gate, formerly known as Queen Anne's Mansions, will begin in March 1977. The Home Office will occupy the whole of the premises as their new headquarters. The moves will result in the Home Office completely vacating three buildings and parts of nine others, all but one of which will be re-used on the Government Estate.
