asked the Secretary of State for Trade (1) if he will give detailed sources for the United Kingdom's main suppliers of lard, and in what volume, before January 1972; what have been the sources of imports of lard into the United Kingdom since January 1972; and what price has been paid per ton, respectively;

(2) what has been the level of lard imports from the EEC since January 1976; what is the price per metric tonne of lard imported from the EEC at present charged to the United Kingdom; and what is the EEC subsidy per metric tonne of lard offered to the United Kingdom.

Following is the information from the overseas trade statistics. The subsidy for week commencing 15th November 1976 is £84 per metric ton.
