HC Deb 22 November 1976 vol 919 c961W
Mr. Lawrence

asked the Secretary of State for Trade what preferential trading terms are given by the Government to the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and other countries of the Eastern bloc.

Mr. Meacher

No preferential terms apply to our imports from Eastern Europe. As regards exports, the full range of ECGD's facilities is available, including those provided under the Anglo/Soviet Credit Agreement arranged in 1975.
