§ Mr. Hugh Jenkinsasked the Secretary of State for Energy whether, in view of the fact that the small sums set aside for research and development into wave power, geothermal and other forms of energy constitute a limitation on the amount of work being carried out, he will increase them.
§ Mr. EadieThe sums so far allocated are those considered appropriate to the stage of development and the potential contribution to our energy needs of the energy sources concerned. The allocation will be kept under review as the research and development work progresses.
