§ Mr. HoramI am not aware of particular need for advice to lighting authorities in the circumstances described. I should expect lighting authorities to consider any special need when making decisions on the type and standard of lighting in their streets and residential areas.

§ Mr. HoramI should expect lighting authorities to have regard to published British standard codes of practice for street lighting. Design standards and methods of operation would also, no doubt, be related to local circumstances, and I have had no cause to issue advice in these matters.
