§ Mr. KaufmanNo one, other than a shareholder or director of the company, has a statutory right to attend its annual general meetings. Five officials of Department of Industry and the Treasury hold individual shareholdings of one share each as nominees of the Government, and it is customary for them, or a quorum of them, to attend the annual general meeting.
