§ Mr. Merlyn ReesI am aware of the views of the broadcasting authorities who were members of the Siberry Working Party which was set up to consider the detailed arrangements and estimated costs of giving effect to the recommendations of the Crawford Committee on the establishment of a Welsh language television service. This service is dependent on the availability of Government finance. The Government's decision in the context of the current review of public expenditure, to which my predecessor referred in his answer on 19th February to a Question from my right hon. Friend the Member for Anglesey (Mr. Hughes) has not yet been made.—[Vol. 905, c.788.]
