§ Mrs. Bainasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what provision she has made for Scottish universities to be represented in the EEC when matters affecting university education are being discussed.
§ Mr. OakesThe Commission of the European Communities has arranged two meetings with representatives of national rectors conferences in the EEC to consult them on matters arising from the Action Programme on Education. Scottish universities were represented by the Committee of Vice-Chancellors and Principals of the Universities of the United Kingdom.
