§ Mr. LuardProfessor H. A. Turner, Burton Professor of Industrial Relations at the University of Cambridge, is being assisted in his study of labour relations in Hong Kong by Dr. Patricia Fosh of the University of Bath and Dr. J. K. Hart of the University of Yale.
§ Mr. Parryasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what representations have been made to the Governments of Canada, Taiwan and other countries regarding extradition proceedings against individuals wanted in Hong Kong under the Independent Commission against Corruption Ordinance; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. LuardTwo applications have been made to the Canadian authorities for the arrest of persons wanted for offences under the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance. One of these persons has been arrested. No representations have been made to the Governments of other countries or to the authorities in Taiwan.
