§ Mr. MaclennanThe percentage increases in consumer prices in the period from February 1974 to August 1976, the latest month for which all the data are available, were 55.9 per cent. in the United Kingdom, 13.3 per cent. in West Germany, 30.4 per cent. in France, 21.4 per cent. in the United States of America and 28.7 per cent. in Japan.
