§ Mr. Joseph Deanasked the Secretary of State for Energy what response he has had to the invitation he extended in reply to a Parliamentary Question on 26th May for nominations of, or personal applications from, suitable persons interested in public appointments to the nationalised industry boards for which he is responsible.
§ Mr. BennA number of names have been put to me since I answered my hon. 337W Friend's earlier question—[Vol. 912, c. 273]. As I made clear then, I am always glad to receive further nominations or applications so that a more representative list of potential appointees can be drawn up.
