§ Dr. GilbertTo mitigate the effects of the rundown the decontamination of the Nancekuke site will be carried out by staff now there. In consequence, the process may extend as much as two years beyond the date of closure. In view of the uncertainties inherent in this long time scale it would not be practicable at this stage to give an estimate of the total costs involved.

§ Dr. GilbertAfter it has been made safe it is normal for a site to be disposed of with buildings as they stand. No departure from this practice is anticipated in the case of Nancekuke.
