§ Mr. Leeasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is his estimate of the annual saving to the Health Service of hospital medication costs arising out of personal injury road accidents to be borne by motor insurers instead of being borne by the Health Service itself.
§ Mr. MoyleIn the announcement last July of the Government's proposals for recouping the full cost of treatment by the National Health Service of road accident casualties, including non-hospital treatment, the total was given as £40 million. That estimate was in terms of November 1975 prices. The estimate is being reviewed.
