§ Mr. Gordon Wilsonasked the Secretary of State for Energy what proportion of total estimated NCB capital expenditure has been earmarked for Scotland in 1976–77.
§ Mr. EadieFour per cent. of total estimated National Coal Board capital expenditure will be undertaken for Scotland in 1976–77. This amounts to some £11 million out of a total of some £270 million.
§ Mr. Bulmerasked the Secretary of State for Energy if he will list the coal mines which are not profitable at the present time.
§ Mr. EadieAssessments of profit or loss for individual mines are prepared for internal management purposes only. No one colliery's results can be considered in isolation.
The Board does, however publish results by area in its annual report and accounts, a copy of which is in the House of Commons Library.
