§ Mr. Trotterasked the Secretary of State for Defence what is to be the future of the REME Fording Trials Branch at Instow; and whether it is now proposed to close the Command Engineer parks at Livingstone and East Harling.
§ Mr. Robert C. BrownStudies are being made of possible future joint Service requirements for the use of the REME Fording Trials Branch at Instow. Consultations with the Staff and Trades Union Sides will take place as soon as a firm proposal emerges from these studies. The Engineer parks at Livingstone and East Harling are to be closed as part of the reorganisation of the Command Engineer parks.
