HC Deb 08 November 1976 vol 919 cc35-6W
Mr. Freud

asked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection (1) what changes his Department is proposing to make to the prices policy in order to prevent companies from making unjustified profit whilst still allowing for a satisfactory rate of capital investment;

over discussions with EFTA countries over the duty-free quotas of paper and the operation of the ratchet clause, in the light of the recommendation of the NEDC Sector Working Party on Paper and Board; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Meacher

I will reply to the hon. Member as soon as possible.
