HL Deb 08 November 1976 vol 377 cc174-6WA
The Earl of SELKIRK

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they approve of the notice at the arrival terminal at Heathrow that trolleys may be used only by invalids, disabled or mothers with children.

Lord ORAM

This is a matter affecting the day-to-day management of the airport and the chairman of the British Airports Authority is being asked to write to the noble Lord. I understand, however, that the notices do not apply generally throughout the terminals and in practice relate only to the use of trolleys for carrying light hand baggage.

House adjourned at seven minutes before midnight.
