§ Mr. HattersleyThe Retail Price Index rose by 1.3 per cent. between 17th August 745W and 14th September 1976. We have already made considerable progress in bringing down the rate of inflation. The increase in the Retail Price Index for the 12 months to September 1976 was 14.3 per cent. However, we are unlikely to see much improvement in this over the next few months.
