§ Mr. StrangThe marketing of veterinary medicinal products, which include antibiotics and growth promoters for use in cattle, is controlled by the licensing provisions of the Medicines Act 1968. Expert advice on safety, quality and efficacy is given, and reviewed as necessary, by the Veterinary Products Committee. I am fully satisfied with these arrangements.
