§ Mr. Michael Morrisasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs (1) when he expects to receive the CPRS report on the Diplomatic Services role as an aid to exporters;
(2) whether he intends to publish the CPRS report on the Diplomatic Service; and, if so, when.
§ Mr. TomlinsonI understand that the Central Policy Review Staff hope to complete their review of the United Kingdom's overseas representation early next year. The terms of reference were announced by my right hon. Friend, the then Foreign and Commonwealth Secretary, on 14th January, when he said that he would inform the House of the conclusions of the report and publish as much of it as he could. This is still the intention.
