§ Mr. John SmithAs stated by my right hon. Friend on 4th August, amendments to Standing Orders will be tabled to extend the time for debates in Standing Committee, to widen the definition of the documents which the Scrutiny Committee may examine, and to omit the description of Community legislation as secondary.
