§ Mr. BishopDetails of the United Kingdom expenditure on support buying under the common agricultural policy are given in the Consolidated Operating Accounts and Balance Sheets for intervention buying undertaken by the Intervention Board for Agricultural Produce. These accounts also show the costs of providing storage facilities, including insurance of stocks and the receipts from FEOGA for losses incurred on sales and for incidental expenses. The accounts were published in Classes I-V of the Appropriation Accounts for 1973–74 (pages 326 and 327) and in Volume I of the Appropriation Accounts for 1974–75 (pages 214 and 215). Information in more detail for the calendar years 1973 and 1974 is contained in Table M of the Annual Report of the Intervention Board for Agricultural Produce for the

The figures in column (3) are of herds known to have received cattle in 1972 and/or 1973 from the Irish 394W calendar year 1974 (Cmnd 6033). This table also shows the incidental expenses of the support buying operations, including expenditure on storage. Receipts from FEOGA appear at Table L of the report.
