asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will publish a list of those local authorities in Scotland which either refuse to sell council houses or which have not sold any council houses in the last 12 months.

Of the district councils formed after local government reorganisation last year the following have not sought the Secretary of State's consent to the sale of any of their council houses:
