§ Sir George Youngasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what will be the future responsibilities of those members of his Department's staff who were preparing for the child benefit scheme.
§ Mr. EnnalsAs I told the House on 25th May,—[Vol. 912, c. 284–97.]—child benefit will be introduced in April 1977. Those members of my Department's staff who have been preparing for the start of the scheme will, therefore, continue to do so.
