Mr. Stanbrook

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs how many of the estimated 10,000 people of Asian descent in Rhodesia are citizens of the United Kingdom and Colonies entitled to United Kingdom passports and to entry to the United Kingdom within the terms of the Commonwealth Immigrants Acts 1962 and 1968.

This information is not available. However, the 1969 Rhodesian Census shows that 558 Rhodesians of Asian descent then claimed United Kingdom citizenship.
