§ 26. Mr. Wardasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether the outbreak of "mad itch" among pigs in Holland constitutes a potential threat to British herds; and what contingency plans have been made to deal with an outbreak in the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. StrangAs this disease, generally known as Aujesky's disease, has been recognised here since 1961, a contingency plan is not needed. We do not import live pigs from Holland.
