The future of the industry is the subject of frequent222W discussions involving my Department, the Organising Committee for British Shipbuilders, the Confederation of Shipbuilding and Engineering Unions, the Shipbuilders and Repairers National Association, and the General Council of British Shipping. My hon. Friend the Minister of State and I have taken part in a number of these discussions.
