§ Mr. Harry EwingI am aware of the concern that has rightly been expressed about this practice in some areas of Scotland but I have not received any reports on its overall incidence. I hope that wherever the problem occurs health, education and social work interests and the police will continue to co-operate to bring home to children and their parents the grave dangers of the habit.
