HC Deb 26 May 1976 vol 912 cc199-200W
Mr. Dykes

asked the Lord President of the Council if he will undertake to bring the EEC Second Draft Directive on public supply contracts to debate in the House, prior to the June meeting of the Council of Ministers of the European Community.

Mr. Foot

I can confirm that the draft directive on public supply contracts will be debated before any decision is taken in the Council of Ministers. As the forecast of Council business deposited in the House yesterday indicates, the draft directive is not expected to be on the agenda of any Council meeting in June.
