§ Mr. Christopher Priceasked the Attorney-General what action he is taking to ensure that the abuse of solicitors' lien on documents be investigated as recommended by the first report of the Lay Observer.
§ The Attorney-GeneralI appreciate that the system of lien may give rise to difficulties which are common to many professions and callings. The Royal Commission will no doubt have regard to the Lay Observer's Report, and the solicitors' lien is a matter that the Royal Commission will be able to consider.
