§ Miss Margaret JacksonDuring the time—1947–66—when authorities received 100 per cent. grant on their approved net expenditure on the provision of school dinners, staffing standards for typical kitchens were drawn up by the Department for costing purposes. These were made available to authorities who wished to have them, but apart from this no advice on this subject has been issued by the Department.
