§ Mr. Sillarsasked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many remedial teachers are employed in the Scottish primary school sector; and, of these, how many are employed in Strathclyde as a whole and in Glasgow in particular.
§ Mr. McElhoneThe September 1975 school census indicated that there were 911 teachers employed in remedial education in education authority primary schools in Scotland. Of these 396 were employed in Strathclyde, including 87 in the Glasgow division.
