Mr. Norman Lamont

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) how much income tax was paid and will be paid, per household and per head, in 1973–74 and 1976–77; and what totals are used for the numbers of households and heads;

(2) how much was paid and will be paid, per household and per head, in 1973–74 and 1976–77 in income tax, employees' national insurance contributions and domestic rates.
