§ Mr. Rookerasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will make a statement on the delay in extending the unfair dismissal benefits of the Employment Protection Act to those workers working less than 21 hours per week but more than 16 hours per week.
§ Mr. Harold WalkerThis extension will be brought into operation as soon as the capacity of the industrial tribunals has been expanded sufficiently to cope with the additional case load involved. I hope that it will be possible to implement this extension later this year.
