§ Mr. Kinnockasked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement about recent discussions he has had with the Chilean Government about matters of mutual concern in defence policy, arms sales and training of armed forces personnel.
§ Mr. MasonI have had no discussions with any member of the Chilean Government. However, my officials occasionally come into contact with Chilean 33W representatives in order to discharge residual responsibilities relating to some existing naval sales contracts negotiated some years ago.
