In addition, she receives an attributable pension from the Ministry of Defence under the Forces Pension Scheme and lump-sum payments according to her husband's rank.

Up to 14th May 1976, 314 claims for compensation for damage in Northern Ireland caused by border road closures by the security forces have been settled, for a total of £96,557.92. Fifty-two such claims are at present awaiting settlement.
