§ 15. Mr. Sproatasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what preparations he is now making for the conference at Belgrade next year to review the implementation of the Helsinki Agreement.
§ Mr. TomlinsonThe Government attach importance to the Belgrade Review Conference and intend to play their full part in it. The conference is due to take place in the latter part of 1977, and detailed preparations must wait until nearer the time. Meanwhile, the Government are in active and continuous consultation with other European countries about the basic question of the implementation of the provisions of the provisions of the Helsinki Final Act.
