§ Rev. Ian Paisleyasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what was the 476W total amount of Government grants paid to voluntary organisations in the Andersonstown area of Belfast during the years 1973, 1974, and 1975, respectively.
§ Mr. Moyle, pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 5th May 1976; Vol. 910, c. 387], gave the following information
Year Estimated Grants Paid £ 1973 10,700 1974 18,600 1975 15,800 These grants were paid to aid preschool playgroups, voluntary youth organisations and community services.
In the same period, Government grants in respect of the whole Province were also paid to voluntary organisations such as the Northern Ireland Association for the Care and Rehabilitation of Offenders and marriage guidance councils, but it is not possible to state how much of these grants was allocated to the Andersonstown area.
