§ Mr. Gregor MackenzieIt is for the Scottish electricity boards to initiate and submit for my approval proposals for new generating capacity; but, in present circumstances, there is no potential for further economic development of conventional hydro-electric schemes in Scotland. Pumped storage schemes will, however, be developed, where appropriate, to meet future electricity needs.
