§ Mr. Kilroy-Silkasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will invite senior coloured police officers from the new Commonwealth to come to the United Kingdom on secondment so as to provide an encouragement for recruits from the United Kingdom.
§ Dr. SummerskillArrangements already exist for police officers to visit this country from the Commonwealth, and we shall continue to encourage them. Secondment would not be possible unless the officers were given police powers in this country. This has been carefully studied but found to be impracticable.
