§ Mr. Warrenasked the Secretary of State for Defence what is the status of the United Kingdom Harpoon purchase from the United States of America following the cancellation by the United State Government of part of the Harpoon contract.
§ Mr. William RodgersI am not aware that the United States Government have cancelled the Harpoon programme. Negotiations on the arrangements for the purchase of Sub-Harpoon are proceeding satisfactorily.
