New Houses Relets (older houses which have been vacated by Londoners and are now available for new tenants) Haverhill 174 4 Bury St.Edmunds 85 — Mildenhall 31 10 Brandon 15 4 The local authorities concerned have no estimates of the numbers likely to be empty in a year's time. Since they are unlikely to let further housing contracts until the economic recession is over, they do not expect to have more than a small surplus necessary to meet day to day demands.
