§ Mr. Meacher, pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 4th May 1976; Vol. 910, c. 360], gave the following information:
On the general question of the supply and control of arms for Chile I refer my hon. Friend to the answer given by my right hon. Friend the then Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs on 21st May 1975. Subject to policy on this general question, ECGD cover is allotted in the normal way to insured exporters.
