§ Mr. Gwilym Robertsasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what further study he has made of organisations recruiting mercenaries for Rhodesia; what steps he is taking to stem this flow of mercentary troops; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. RowlandsThe position remains as stated to the House by my hon.408W Friend on 28th April; we are still awaiting the report from Lord Diplock's Committee. I have no evidence that mercenary troops have gone from this country to Rhodesia. If my hon. Friend has evidence to the contrary I should be glad to have it so that it may be fully investigated.
