§ Mrs. Dunwoodyasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how soon he expects to receive information outlining the exact quota of New Zealand butter to be imported by the Common Market for the period 1978 to 1980.
§ Mr. BishopThe question of access quantities for New Zealand butter into the United Kingdom in 1978 to 1980 is currently being considered by Agriculture Ministers. We hope that agreement will be reached at the May meeting.
§ Mrs. Dunwoodyasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether the Dublin Declaration on the quota of New Zealand butter confirms that for the period 1978 to 1980 New Zealand may export annual figures of 125,000, 121,000 and 117,000 tonnes.
§ Mr. BishopThe Dublin declaration said that for the period up to 1980 these annual quantities could, depending upon future market developments, remain close to effective deliveries under Protocol 18 in 1974 and the quantities currently envisaged by New Zealand for 1975. The average of these two quantities is 121,000 tonnes.
